The frame is made applying the monocoque technology, which is the connection of the front triangle with the chain and seat stays. This secures a more robust, stiffer, and the safest possible connection. In the frame, only the basins for the head set, bottom bracket threaded insert, and drop outs are of duralumin.
This technology is used for the road models CA 9900, CA 8800, CA 7700, CA 6600, and CA 5500, for the MTB FSX models A-RAY 1.0/ 2.0/ 3.0 and ERA 2.0/ 3.0, as well as MTB models MAGNUM, INTROVERT, MASTER, REVOLT and MODUS and cross models SYNERGY and AVION.

The concave deflection of the seat stay increases its ability to absorb minor shocks due to road roughness. Due to this property the wheels remain permanently in contact with the surface, maintain the direction, the ride is safer, more considerate, and more comfortable for the rider. We use it for the CA 9900, CA 8800, CA 7700, CA 6600, CA 5500 models.

The very comfortable form of the seat stay for the MTB and cross top models – MAGNUM, INTROVERT, MASTER, REVOLT, MODUS, REVOLT 29, SYNERGY and AVION is secured not only by its cross-section shape but also by the division of the seat stay into two sections along its entire length, from the connection with the seat tube. These absorb road roughness much better than the very often used monostay.
In the 2011 model year you will find the oversize seat tube diameter 34.9 mm on all four new carbon frames (ROAD, 2x MTB FSX, 1xMTB, 1xMTB 29 and Cross), and from this, the 31.6 mm diameter of the seat post. This oversized diameter contributes to the stiffness and rigidity increase of the front triangle.
